ADVANTAGES OF A NURSE PRACTITIONER
AS YOUR LEGAL NURSE CONSULTANT
Legal consulting without the physician price tag!
Much like physicians, Nurse Practitioners diagnose patients, prescribe medications and other treatments, order laboratory, and imaging studies, and perform many bedside procedures; Registered Nurses are not trained or licensed to do this. Commonly referred to as NPs, they are APCs - advanced practice clinicians. They are practitioners.
Nurse Practitioners must earn an advanced degree which allows them to have greater authority and responsibility than a Registered Nurse and practice either independently or in collaboration with a physician.
